Now, I truly don't understand why I work the 40 hour week.

This 23 year old kid from Las Vegas runs a web site and video production company that shows the exploitation of the homeless.

He will give them $20, and have them do dangerous stunts, or fight each other, and film it with his team. They have a parody of The Croc Hunter, where they grab a sleeping bum, and tape him up in duct tape, and cart him off.

To date, this guy has banked over $6,000,000!!!!!!!!!! on the videos he has sold!

They showed him driving down the Strip in a nice new Mercedes.

Now I ask you......if this guy can make it, why the hell are any of us working?

People will spend their cash on anything!

Because when you lay your head down at night, at least you have your dignity in your day to day activities. Prospering off others misfortunes is a piss poor way to making a livin' in my opinion. I USE to think that a person's bottom line was really all that mattered at the end of the day. The older I get, the farther from the truth this becomes.

Neemer, you hit it right on the button.I saw this same story a few months ago & at the time,I thought it was sick to take advantage of these people.I wonder if it is against the law to risk the endangerment of these disadvantaged people.

Guys, this is a great video! You can go to their website and order one, i did. This will be great entertainment. I have seen some clips. Very funny. Do you have any problem watching " girls gone wild" video do ya? Same thing. Plus i'm sure the homeless were very happy to get some cash and have a good meal. This all goes to a very worthy cause. Might even be tax deductable.

Only in America!

Hey, more power to him, if guys like you are willing to make his Benz payment................

Are you friggin kidding me?
Hoboism is a choice. Street people live on the street by choice! Anyone that has any inkling otherwise never lived in a city like Chicago or New York, or even Seattle for that matter. Disadvantaged people? They choose that lifestyle!!!! They chose to drink their way to it or intravaneous drug users choose that plight. Yes there are a select few that end up on the street for many different and heart-wrenching reasons but it is their choice to stay there. When I walk out of a Blackhawks game and it has snowed 6 inches and my car is covered with snow. there are at least 5 hobos waiting for the opportunity to clean my car full of snow. All this for a dollar. But I generally will require the 5 aforementioned losers to sing and the best Smokey Robinson I hear gets the chance to earn a dollar. Mind you this is true not made up. Or I may have them do a soft shoe, or a tap dance. Had one guy rap for a buck. The point is this, am I the one humiliating them or just giving them the opportunity to do it for themselves. They have a chance to EARN a dollar, just like I have to earn my wages. So tell me why will the dance or sing for a buck but not get up early and stand on the street corner waiting to be picked up to go work for someone for an honest days wages. Give me a break, I do not help anyone more than once that won't help themselves. Those bums know exactly what they are doing and made a cognizant decision to do it, get over it. Lethargy in our streets has created an entire subculture in our society that continues to drag down the hard working wage earner that made this country what it is today. All of them, to include; street bums, panhandlers, women that get pregnant just to get child support and not work and collect welfare, and many more that are the scourge of our society can kiss my lilly white ass. Stand up, wash your ass, get a job, the car wash is always hiring and have some respect for yourself. If this sounds harsh tough sh*t, my father is a bum as far as I have heard, never really knew him that well, as well as the old biological. I have been without work before, but not for long. There are a lot of people that straighten shelves and wash dishes for a living and don't drain our economy. This all goes back to that post before about picking and choosing what we as a society are willing to accept. We don't want to let gays adopt healthy children from an orphanage, but it is alright to have Mom and Dad drag you from one mission to the next one handout after the other. Yea you are right these poor disadvantaged people. The funny thing is nobody ever asked me if I wanted to be eating handouts from the good people of society such as yourselves, or if I wanted to be bounced from foster home to foster home. But I do remember getting lots of pats on the head and dimes and nickels as the righteous people of the world looked at me with disgust, as my childhood went the way of the bottle and the needle. Obviously, I may be a quick trigger on the issue, but I will say this with all honesty and as much compassion as I can muster for the subject and that is this. I honestly hope it was someone I know that got the twenty bucks, because maybe he/she will eat well tonight and just maybe realize what a useless waste they have made of more than just their lives.

......and I have issues?

I know that I ceratinly don't consider bums to be disadvantaged, and I didn't read a single part of this thread that stated that term.

I find it laughable, that a guy will scrounge through dumpsters all day, to fine $3 in aluminum, but wouldn't consider working at that carwash you described.

Then again, perhaps the owner of that carwash doesn't want this guy working there?

The only thing I was trying to say in this thread was, if a guy can make millions of dollars doing this, why the hell am I working a 40 hour week? There must be something outrageous out there that needs to be sold to the public, that has not been done yet? I will keep my eyes and ears open!

Fat, I'm glad you managed to rise up from all that blight, and become a success. Even happier that you could manage to get home safely from a Hawks game in that shit part of the world, where they play. (Talk about the Forbiden Zone!)

Perhaps, though, you could save all those one dollar tips, and instead of enabling these bums, give it to a decent cause.

If I would have had your last reply put infront of me without a name on it, I would have been certain it was from Eddie.

"Hey.....Let's fuhk with the bums!" Stand tall, my man.

sorry bro wasn't directed at you or anyone in particular was just a rant. I respect you and all your posts, you seem to have the same outlook on things in general that I do. I always read them and always get a chuckle. Trust me, when I said you had issues it was only because I knew you wouldn't take me seriously, or at least I hoped you wouldn't. I have a very strange sense of humor I guess as I never take myself too seriously and appreciate your posts a great deal. I am sorry when I offend anyone but am trying to refrain from personal attacks anymore....cheers

last time I checked my grandparents still lived in Florida, in Spring Hill. Hernando Beach, they are suckers for a good charity scam....LOL.......frickin amish....don't do a stinkin thing to help society...I don't even like their bread....plus the women don't put out on a daily basis unless you are married to them, even then they don't do oral or anything else if you know what I mean. I mean they are fun to make fun of and swear at as you drive by but that is about it....have fun dude......p.s. My grandparents will be the grouchy ass ones with a picture of me with a line through it out on their front yard, you can't miss it they will be the ones drinking Manhattens at about 1100am bitching about their no good grandson:D

FDC,

The difference between your story & the guy making all that money off of needy people, is that nobody got hurt cleaning your car.To pay people to beat the shit out of one another is not right. This guy is just taking advantage of people who are desperate enough for cash to do almost anything. What happens if one of these people gets seriously hurt or even killed. Then there is a major problem. And believe me I am not a moralist nor do I feel sorry for these homeless people.I just think it is wrong & demeaning, even to bums.

Hey... YYZ... heres another interesting one... In the local newspaper today they mentioned about a guy that lives here in BC, Canada that is selling Kinder Surprise chocolates to people in the states... As it is apparantly illegal for them to be sold in the states because of the small toy inside the chocolate.... But he sells them thru ebay and stuff and it said that he has a list of about 3000 customers now that buy a few cases from him at a time regularly.... I think it said he sells at least 5000 cases of these chocolates a year....

so maybe theres something that you could sell to us Canadians out there that we can't buy here.... LOL :D

You know years ago half these homeless came from the nut houses that closed do to poor funding. Not sure if it's still the case now or not. The other half came from those who just plain never wnated to work or take a part in society. What the hell you going to do. They just want to be left alone. But like they say there is a sucker born every day.
