Will The Burger King Score TD

NO +180

VIP

I've been pondering this wager all week, I'm thinking No as well. I just checked this morning and the Yes moved from -220 to -180....

I figure its going to be a famous superbowl winning play, and since they have already done a pass (Vikings) a run (49ers) a defensive TD (Ravens) that a last second FG may be coming.

My second thought is that the Burger King will "help out" with a famous play, like throwing a key block as the RB rushes for the TD, or maybe throws a pass.

Any thoughts?

no play on this but along the same lines:

I'm playing the field at 8-1 for who wins "USA Today Ad Meter". Also am gonna play Anheiser Busch at -200 to hedge, but it will take something very original and unique to knock the Bud Light ads off their pedastol. IF they DO get knocked off, I expect it to be by a company that completely blindsides everyone, kind of like the Careerbuilder ads last season or E-Trades in like 2000.

Bud LIght is riding a 7 year reign and this seems to be the year of dynasties ending....but its worth a hedge when your other position is paying 8-1, right?

Doesn't Bud Light air 2 or 3 commercials per superbowl? How does that factor into the wager?

probably by the fact that they are the heavy favorites this year. I dont know what other sites have lines up for this, but pinnaclesports does, thats where I'm getting the odds from.

Its unlikely that any winner would launch one isolated advertisement. Usually its part of a campgain, some even have "mini-campaigns" where each commercial aired later in the game builds on an earlier ad.

All the successful companies from last year and previous years launched at LEAST 2 different ads during the game.

They ought to have a prop on somebody nuking the SB and blaming it on Iran. I'd take some of that.

Do you think the ref who reversed the INT to help Indy made an honest mistake? The govt has no more respect for citizens than NFL has for fans. Both will spit in your face and tell you it's raining. The nation's attention will be focused on Detroit, and it would be a good prop that somebody might attempt to make use of that for nefarious purposes.

Looks like I spent too much time thinking about it. Line has changed bigtime:

Yes (-110)
No (-120)

Wow that was really unexpected.. I have been telling people to play No for a week as well but never actually played it myself because I never thought it would move that much.

I have heard about some inside info being given out on the NO.. but wouldn't they take it down if that was so instead of moving the juice?

This bet really intrigues me.

How can they offer bets like that when they know that somebody - a lot of somebodies - know the answer for sure?

Maybe the king will leap the line for a sack and then do a funky burger king dance. Put on your ad exec hat and think what would be funniest!

I think he'll throw a crucial lead block as a famous back runs it in for the score. Just can't think what famous superbowl that happened in.
