Looks as if a lot of players have good chances this week, but I've narrowed it down to the following:

SERGIO GARCIA @ 25/1 (Generally) 1pt e/w

JIM FURYK @ 25/1 (Sportingodds) 1pt e/w

CHRIS DI MARCO @ 28/1 (Golfing Gods, Bet365) 1pt e/w

NICK PRICE @ 80/1 (Ladbrokes) 0.5pts e/w

SCOTT VERPLANK @ 40/1 (William Hill, Ladbrokes) 0.5pts e/w

KMc10 list right above your post is good start--all very solid players here in past in good form.Goose pretty hard to throw out anywhere as well as Mickelson.

If you need some longer shots would watch future seclection that pop up. LIA Sure had some nice ones last week.

I think Stan is on vacation this week.

Stan - Enjoy your holiday!

Dogs -It sure is good to have you posting so much again this year. It sure hasn't hurt your performance, and apparently it hasn't cost you too many favorable opportunities for action with the books.

As for this week, one I'm playing for sure is Luke Donald, who has been acknowledging for weeks and going on months that he's playing the best golf of his life. And early this year he spoke of being on a bit of a mission to earn his first PGA Tour win in an event longer than 54 holes, which has to still be gnawing at him. The write-up from Chris on Stan's tour-tips.com site says it better than I can:

Back Luke Donald 2.5pts e/w @33/1 at William Hill
In ten events this season he has finished outside the top 15 just once. This is a player who is not only incredibly consistent but can mix it with the big boys in the strongest of fields. Clear evidence of that is found in his last two PGA tour events: 2nd at The Players and 3rd at The Masters. He followed those up with two top 10 finishes in China - his first ever trip to Asia so he'll no doubt be glad to be back in the more familiar surroundings of the US. And on top of all that, this is an event which should be made for him. No real premium on distance off the tee and small greens has favoured players who are reknowned for excellent iron play - Nick Price for one has a phenomenal record here. Donald was 19th here two years ago, 14th last year, and he has improved enormously as a player in that time. The only question mark is over his ability to close out events on this tour. There have been one or two slight concerns on that front but certainly not enough to damn him with. At the very least this is an exceptional value e/w bet.

Singh - (1/2) over Herron -120 @ HW &WW
GIRS
Garcia (+1/2) over Funk -110 @ HW&WW
little leary of this one with possible bounce from Garcia but not one of Funks fav venues despite being ball strikers course and DD adv diminished somewhat however will give Garcia a shot as he lead tourney in Girs last year and 6th in fairways hit.So course evidently suits his eye.

Prop totals

1st rd props 2-2
Birgdes or better
Els (-1/2) over Appleby-110 @ HW loss (6-8)
Goose (+1/2) over Lonard -110 @ WW win (2-2)
Note same line but ( - 1/2) stroke @ HW
Singh - (1/2) over Herron -120 @ HW &WW win (7-3)
GIRS
Garcia (+1/2) over Funk -110 @ HW&WW loss (14-15)

Certainly an odd day and could have been bookies dream if they had right matches. Birdieorbetter totals on day Woods-2 Mick-1
Goose 2 Garcia 1--bad day to oppose Applyby who ranked 1st in birdies on day and Funk ranked 7th in Girs.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
a few props
Birdies or better
Els (-1/2) +105 over Price loss (2-3)
GIRS
Singh (-1/2) -125 over Baird win (15-8)
Perry (+1/2) -120 over Verplank loss (12-13)

Hmmm Good job Els also lost one not posted because Appleby could beat or tie 2 birdies.

Adding outright to place top 5 @ Cbet Donald 7.25 (6.25/1)
Going to climb on with you LIA-- has early tees at Cottonwood this morning which shouldn't hurt things.

2nd rd matches
Donald -115 over Garcia
Mayfair -105 over Leaney

Lots of wind expected to hit bout midway through am tees.
Mayfair should catch must the best of conditions over Leaney--
and ditto with Donald over Garcia and get additional bonus of course mismatch.

a few props
Birdies or better
Els (-1/2) +105 over Price
GIRS
Singh (-1/2) -125 over Baird
Perry (+1/2) -120 over Verplank

Wierd stuff yesterday-but can't let yesterday quirks dictate todays
analogies.

The 1st 2 are quite unusual parings especially in light of both Singh and Els on Cottonwood and their opponents on TPC?? Looked for this yesterday and while found some good matches found no adv in props till today.
--on Perry lets just say he's a ball striking machine--is among leaders in ball striking bout ever tourney 3rd ball striking 7th GIRS yesterday.

Tiger Woods has missed the cut for the first time since 1998.

Tiger Woods? phenomenal streak of 142 cuts made ended Friday at the EDS Byron Nelson

Colonial has to bring something better for me, at least I'll see what is going on live. I still have two Plays in play.
