I'd like some feedback. I already mae a wager and am considering increasing the size of the play. But, I'd like to her other opinions.

BYU opened at +22 versus BOISE STATE. I immediately jumped on BYU, thinking that this is a team that has played against two high profile prgorams -- ND and USC -- losing one and winning one. BYU got blown away by USC, but then again, that's not unusual for one of the top teams. I know BOISE scores 800 points a game, but then again -- they play some dreadful defenses. My initial reaciotn was the BYU should be able to stay in this game, and will certainly help that BYU has been batttle tested versus two very strong programs.

Does anyone agree that +22 is a lot of point here and the play is on BYU? Or, is this a sucker bet, where BOISE will score at will and flatten an outclassed opponent.

Thoughts?

I played Boise State -18 when the line came out sunday. I laughed to myself as I have this line personally at a minimum at 21. They sleepwalked last week against UTEP but I don't see that happening here.

This is yet another national spotlight game for Hawkins to show off what he has up there in Boise & he won't hesitate to run this score up on an overmatched BYU team.

This game imo is one where Boise State can name their score as it is impossible for BYU to match them.

i never jumped on the boise bandwagon in all these years. ive got a great respect for their program but ive always found myself taking the points and going against them in certain spots. in fact, i seriously dont think ive ever bet ON them. but when i saw that line, i thought it looked low and i see this game as an ass whooping. this is a dangerous game for byu. huge home game vs #1 southern cal (which they were geared up for and actually played pretty well)l, and then they travel to arguably one of the toughest venues in the country less than a week later. im the last guy to condone the laying of 20+ points of chalk, lol. but i think this one will get ugly. public will back boise at any price, but i think theyre right on here.

Boise beat BYU 50-12 last year at BYU. Boise Coach Hawkins will run up the score in the Nation Spot Light. Oregon St is better than BYU and they lost by 21 after posting and early 14 point lead.

one thing i will say for the byu/boise game last year. that was a really deceptive final score. byu didnt play that poorly at all. in fact, they played pretty well. the problem is, they threw four INTs that just killed their chances. boise worked with a lot of short fields. the total yardage was almost even. in fact, i went back and checked the exact numbers and it was only 381-329 in favor of boise. taking care of the football vs. boise is paramount, and byu didnt do it last year. but their defense actually played well. sounds crazy, since they gave up 50 pts, but its true

good info gman2. i always check stats after a lopsided score. to's are often the culprit.

BYU
Thrown 8 Ints lost 5 fumbles. Recovered 3 fumbles and has only got 1 Int for -9 TO ratio.

Boise St
Thrown 4 Ints lost 4 fumbles. Recovered 1 fumble and has had 7 Ints for and even TO ratio.

Last years game, Boise was +3 in the TO ratio.
I know that no game is a guarantee because it would be called winning instead of gambling, but I believe BYU is going to get a beat down!

i only play against boise when they are on the road. they are subject to score 3 times on that blue carpet while you go to get a beer. any thoughts on those added games? oregon needs a blow-out and this might only game baylor can win this year.
