Texas playing in Utah,altitude away game sold out hostile crowd . BYU B-12 record will be 2-4 so its a must game for them. But Texas has Abmas and although I have underrated him somewhat the leading scorer last yr in the nation at ORU and he does shoot and doesn't pass he is a stud. I have been critical of him somewhat because he likes to gun the ball but he hits those shots . And I mean range. He takes a few shots 2 -3 feet behind the 3 pt line. I say and the fans and coaches say before one of those shots "WTF are you doing" and its swish " His teammates are ok with it and that is what all that matters . He is the best shooter in the country Thats why he led the nation in scoring last year at ORU. He has Hunter at gd who is also excellent Texas got Disu back from injury and he is a solid post player that can leave the paint and shoot. With his return and the Shedrick who has been disappointing Texas has Mitchell at 6'8 and causes havoc opponents defenses Hunter and Weaver are Abmas's partners at the gds and think no matter who they play " how do you guard all3 of them attacking. BYU is loaded with a great pt gd and can hit the 3 They have a good front court and with their backs to the wall in B-12 standings home crowd etc Texas on the road. Think BYU will win but Longhorns with Abmas keep it close . I don't want to be a " homer" with the Longhorns but I'm leaning a little bit after seeing their past few games. They are athletic and have speed And with Disu back inside think this is a very close game. And when the BYU defense shuts down Texas just give the ball to Abmas and he will hit a 40 footer.
