I don't trust either Charlotte or Louisville. Fading Louisville has been like gold the past 6 weeks; now on a 4-11 ATS run while East Carolina has covered 4 of their last 5. Any team who allows around 40% from the field or less and is getting double digits must be considered. Louisville has not shot the ball well in their bad run; Dean is still hurting. There's probably a 2-3 pt Pitino tax for them every game. For some reason, LV keeps overpricing them. I don't trust Charlotte laying any more than 5 or so. Charlotte has probably had more winning non-covers over the past 5 years than any team in the NCAA. Not saying they're cheating, but it does make one wonder. Maybe Lutz just likes to let up at a certain point, or takes out the starters. With a quick turnaround, there isn't incentive to leave starters in too long.

Have to agree with you both Lou and Char have struggled as of late and both teams have been hit with some personal problems ....DWI's and Pittino's illness.

went the other way with uncc, but i have a feeling ecu might hang. herrion has some decent young players and has reconfigured the team nicely since mikulas went out with his broken arm. the team is actually a little quicker up and down the court, and herrion has them playing with confidence. pittino is already hinting that he doesn't put that much stock in this year's c-usa tournament, on the theory that if his team has no chance at a one or two seed, anything else really doesn't matter. he'd rather limit dean's and garcia's minutes and get them 100% for the ncaa's. all this shapes up nicely for a dog play imo.
