Tournament Matchups (1u)

Woods ov Schwartzel -120 ? Like the best player in the world at these short odds. Woods sports a better 69.21 rd average at WGC/Doral vs. Schwartzel?s 70.38. Besides last years final round WD, Tiger has finished inside Top 10 every year of WGC/Doral he?s teed it up. And he?s won on this course three times.

Kuchar ov McIlroy -150 ? Kuchar has finished in the Top 8 last 3 years of WGC/Doral with a 69.17 round average, better than McIlroy?s 70.50 round average the past 4 years. Throw in McIilroy?s recent struggles and the seasoned veteran coming off the WGC Accenture Match Play victory, I think Kuchar is worth a shot at these odds.

Donald ov Scott -115 ? Donald has two straight Top 10?s in this event and has finished ahead of Scott four out of the past five years. He also sports a lower per round average than Scott (70.25 vs 71.21) in the WGC/Doral event.

Watney ov Mahan +110 ? Watney has finished ahead of Mahan last four years in this tourney with a better round average than his counterpart (69.13 vs 70.85). Watney also has a win and a runner-up with Mahan breaking the Top 10 once in the past five years.

Henley ov Colsaerts -110 ? Backing Henley against Colsaerts for the second week in a row. Henley?s a Georgia boy and appears to be much more familiar, and likely comfortable than Colsaerts with the Florida playing conditions/turf with Colsaerts having played in Florida only twice. Also, I'm a Dawg fan and I love pulling for this guy.

First Rd Matchups (1u)

Kutchar ov Westwood -120 ? Cant pass up an opportunity to back Kuchar again in this tourney. He has a 69.17 round average vs. Westwood?s 71.10 in this event and has beaten Westwood head-to-head in the first round the past three years. Kuchar also has an 8-2-2 head-to-head per round record against Westwood in this event.

Howell ov Coetzee -120 ? Fifth tournament for Coetzee in the US. Two first round losses in Accenture Match Play and two missed cuts in PGA Champ and US Open in 2012. Howell more comfortable in Florida with a long history playing there. Fired opening round 70 in last year?s WGC/Doral event and finished 17th. Two previous opening rounds in 2007 & 2008 WGC/Doral event fired a 69.

McDowell to win 40-1

Everything here feels right. The right amount of course experience, the right amount of recent form, age, size, attitude. I love this selection.

Bradley over Watson +102
Keegan had a good solid week last tournament, won for me, and actually played better than he scored. I watched almost every one of his shots, and he is in top form. I don't think he can get any better than he is right now. Bubba is a good player but he's a flake. Unpredictable, so I'll go against him here.

McDowell over Poulter -105
I've never been impressed by Poulter's play in the lesser known tournaments. I expect him to struggle to make the cut.
