Why is there no interest in playing NMSU?

Cal blew out a very bad Baylor team and the defense still allowed 402 total yards, 323 through the air!

NMSU played SC very tough, thats the #18th ranked team in the nation. No? NMSU scored 24 points, and ended the game with 419 yards in total offense. NMSU is not Baylor!

For all you stat heads, Cal, since 95, is 4-12 as a home favorite, 0-3 as double digit home favorites.

Whats impressive is that NMSU has one of the biggest offensive lines in the country. This line, in my opinion, will allow Pierce to find Winston or Briscoe. The Cal secondary is in trouble especially since they lost Callen, Carmel, Scott, and Schmidt to academics.

I know much more is involved and I look forward to the boards opinions on this game.

I like it, plus the line is a little inflated because of the numbers Cal put up last week. Remember Baylor is 0-23 in Big 12 play. I'm not sure if a SU win is in store for the Aggies but it will be a lot closer than the Cal Baylor game. Thanks for bringing this one up. Good Luck

Baylor did little to help Cal prepare for a football game. The Aggies should put up a fight to avoid an 0-2 start in a winnable game! NMSU should cut down their mistakes, the Cal coaches & players had 45m of garbage time. I think Cal will struggle with intensity & execution v a live dog!

OK GUYS, I PLAYED BASEBALL AT NEW MEXICO STATE AND I KNOW THIS TEAM PRETTY GOOD. I NEVER BET ON OR AGAINST MY TEAM BUT I CAN TELL YOU THIS.
IF YOU LOOK BACK TO ABOUT 1994, THEY HAVE COVERED THE SPREADS AGAINST ALL THE BIG SCHOOLS WITH A COUPLE EXCEPTIONS, AS A MATTER OF FACT, THEY HAVE EVEN WON A FEW.
THEY HAVE BECOME A MUCH BETTER TEAM SINCE THE ADDITION OF FORMER NEBRASKA PLAYER AND COACH.
LIKE I SAID I NEVER BET ON THEM, BUT FOR THOSE WHO DO THIS SHOULD AND WILL BE A VERY PLAY FOR MOST.
