Seems like everyone who lost on Cal last week may be gunshy to bet them again tonight. And the majority of the action seems to back that up. USC winning 7 straight over Cal etc. However, the line has dropped. Will this be a classic Thursday night home dog public slaying?

Love USC in this and Matt Barkley playing well, his passing will work well against Cal.

I haven't seen much of USC this year, but can't believe Cal QB has improved that much from last week.

I am here in California and follow both team. Usc is the better team. They will have their fans so homefield no factor. Usc better offense, both team defense ok, slight edge to Usc. Line is right Usc-3 for me small

Waiting on Hawaii tomorrow.. big play there.

I am one of many who lost last week on Cal but they showed me they can play good defense on high powered offense...granted only for one half...they have been smacked around by USC for years so hopefully they have the motivation to not let up after 1 good half and play full game...on the other side, USC can be scored on and I do believe Cals QB will play better and his brother at WR is a beast.

The line is 3 for a reason and I think this could be the week the public takes it in the ass.

Not a big play for me but I will take my chances with the home dog plus the points.

Looking over the PAC12 conference stats, Cal has a slightly better offense and defense... Pretty evenly matched.
The telling stat for me Turnover margin, Cal is ranked #29th and U.S.C. is #104th in the country!!! Recipe for disaster on the road.
I see on sportsinsights that the public is all over Trojans, 73% of the bets.
No way i can bet on SC in this spot, maybe the Under.

I say 21-20 SC!

So. Cal
fyi

game isnt at cal it's at att park (where giants play)

cal wont have their traditional home field advantage (if they even have one) and game is on natural grass not field turf (like at cal)

Both defenses are awful. Arizona put 41 on SC

I think the bye week helps SC here so I like them to cover. That being said, I think they need to score in to the 40's to do so, so I like the over as well.:toast:

Playing USC and the over. The extra week to prepare will really help USC! CAL got there asses kicked by Oregon and roughed up pretty good. Farmer will have 34 receptions tonight.
