Unfortunately for the Bears, three of those bigger and faster players will be starting the game on the sideline. Cal coach Jeff Tedford said speedy receivers DeSean Jackson and Robert Jordan and defensive MVP Thomas DeCoud won't start for an undisclosed violation of team rules.
Tedford chose not to elaborate on the rule or rules broken and said there is no set timetable for when the players might enter the game.
