Tuesdays games are looking to be close,
Here are my pros and cons on different games tomorrow

Wisc - 2.5 vs Ill - Ill is the better team but not very good on the road and this would be a homerun, especially seeing Wisc home record at 11-1 but that 1loss was to North Dakota St. so i have no idea what that was about

Creighton -2.5vs NIowa - Same issue with NIowa who is the better team but Chrieghton is undefeated at home

I need help on these guys.

I will give you my advice for the Uconn -8 which is I like it because Pitt is a good team but I think Uconn is just quicker and more athletic and will beat them. -8 is alot to give the #9 team in the country but UConn will roll Pitts true first test of the season

VT -4 over GT, this will probably be my biggest play of the day. VT comes away with their first big road win against Wake, and they have been very good at home all year, GT has yet to prove themselves on the road without a single win. -4 isnt even that much for an Underated VT team.

BLGstocks...

an angle i learned here a few years ago when i started capping..is play against a Ranked team getting ponts on the road against an unranked team..

i play this angle consistently...through a season you cannot get hurt playing this angle IMO...

2 games fall into this category tom..

Norther Iowa and IllINI...
look at the games if you dont like the home teams dont play them...but this angle is a solid capping angle in college hoops IMO..

im sure other cappers in here folow the winning percentage and numbers on this angle better than i do..

i just look for it and take a close close look as to why the number is where it is..

good luck

cooz

just a quick edit..take a look at the results from last SAT on this angle..it had a good day..i know that because i did..lol..off top of my head..i had Temple...Michigan and Iowa

I love Northern Iowa tommorow...I think Creighton's home game winning streak is over rated. I felt that WSU should of beat them and i feel NIU is around 5-6 points better than WSU..
ONLY LEAN I HAVE ...GOODLUCK to ya

I like Creighton as I feel they are an equal to NIU and the -2.5 would then seem appropriate given the home court advantage. The Jays may not be "great" but their solid as proven how they battled back from a deep hole on Saturday against WSU (though they didn't cover).

creighton when they are at home control the crowd, the crowd there is insane and loud for their hometeam and it truely effects the visiting team, being originally from omaha was a creighton fan and went to the games and it is night and day with nebraska, creighton loves their team and they crave home games, give creighton the win tonight

cooz (and others),

regarding this play of the home non-ranked favs, what way does the line usually head, with them or against them?

I think Creighton lives and dies by the three here. Why would they only be -2.5 as an O/L if they beat UNI in their previous game by 3??? Now they are at home. I am heavily leaning towards the better team here in UNI + poitns.

I also thought this was a lot of points to give but that is one reason I like UConn. I don't agree this is Pitt's first test of the year (at Louisville? Wisky? at Rutgers? Syracuse? Marq? at South Carolina? more)...yes this is their first top of the class team they have faced, but they have had some tests. It just comes across as a lot of points, which I think a lot of the public will jump on...heavy lean towards Uconn -9 here.

I would be hesistant on this one...this seems soft looking at what has happened lately with these two. VT just wins as 10 point dogs on the road, and GT has lost 5 straight, and as you said, has yet to prove themselves on the road. I would lean towards GT +pts here.

From Pgh, Pa. Laying the wood to UConn. Pitt gets totally outclassed in this one. UConn's bigs are too much for Pitt's!!

Mr. Poon...

the line movements vary...i dont really decide my play on that ...it is relevant but i like to cut the variables down when deciding a play...if not it would be easy to over analyze a play...

i will say that when an overwhelming majority is on one team and the line moves other way that usually will indicate to me to take a closer look at the game...

regarding this particular angle however i only look at the opening line to see if the game falls into the angle..simply is the ranked team getting points from the outset...not whether the line move makes them dogs eventaully..just whether they are dogs from outset...

hope that helps a bit..

good luck

I hate days like this, where all the teams you thought would win won, but didnt cover
And the teams that did win, you couldnt pull the trigger on them
