Found this confusing prop at WSEX, worded exactly like this:
FP1109 2/3 (F) NE VS SL (TOTAL # OF NEW ENGLAND PLAYERS TO SCORE NO SAFTY'S) (6:15 pm ET)
Wager Id Outcome Points Money Line
8209 OVER 2.5 -180 Wager
8210 UNDER 2.5 +150 Wager
(Team props section)
If I read this right, it's asking how many New England players will NOT score a safety. If that's the case, I'm pretty sure there will be 40 or so players that don't. LOL So that can't be what they are asking.
But if the "NO" is a typo and instead it should be "ON" safeties, what are the odds more than 2.5 players for the Pats will score a safety? In this case, Under should be a near-lock. Again, seems to make no sense whatsoever.
I called WSEX and the clerks don't even begin to understand what a safety even is, much less are they able to help me interpret this. Anyone have any idea what it's asking?
If it IS just a mistake, would WSEX honor any bets placed on what one way or the other is almost a sure thing? Or would they just keep the losing $$, and refuse to pay the winning $$ saying it's an obvious error?
Thanks.
