Hard to say fouling a 50% free throw shooter is setting up a fix. They really gagged it up though for sure.
The guy was 1 for 5 from the free throw line for the game so I think they figured he would miss at least one of them which of course he didn't. KU gagged that game more than any team in recent memory in the OT period being up 6 and shooting 2 FT's with 18 seconds left. Unbelievable, but have to give the Cougars credit as well.

AM was really bad since they were winning whole game but hard to top to finishing sequences at end of Kansas game. Up 6 going to line with 18 seconds in the first OT is LOL bad. Plus both 3s they put in were near throws.
One of the worst collapses I’ve seen in a while , having to overtime’s with the lead and still blowing the game , I understand the guy was terrible from the free throw but ur only up 2 points so why risk the chance of a tie and ot, I hate to say this but it’s hard to believe this wasn’t a rig job, keep the game going u til Houston can catch the lead to cover
The first chuck was ridiculous. You can’t script that. Kansas is just a dumb team and mayo had the worst game of his life. One stupid play after another. Turnovers. Can’t inbound twice. Pathetic
If you just throw it into the other backcourt you probably don’t even give up a shot. Super dumb team. They are ass this year.
