Can Anyone Verify If This Is True?

Who here can really verify if any of it is true? All we can do is offer an opinion on it. Was he a CIA "asset" at one time...I think he probably was. Did the USA back him with his war with Iran..
I have little doubt. Was his economy devestated after the war while OPEC refused to cut production to increase oil prices...
( Sure....the others made their money with the already higher prices because of the war). Was he "suckered" into Kuwait, thinking he had the green light from the Bush admin?....That we'll probably never now for sure but nothing would surprise me.
Did we "Always have him", as that site suggests?....I would tend to think not...from what I've read about the guy he seemed the type to play both sides against the middle like many other ruthless people have throughout history.
Like it or not I do believe we've done some underhanded things in that neck of the woods over the decades...BUT I believe our foreign policy in the mideast has been for the betterment of these United States.
