Too many times this year I have seen a story about a kid getting on or off a school bus getting hit by a car. Several videos exist of people ignoring the warning lights of the school bus and just speeding on by. Whether you are in a hurry or just plain ignorant how about not doing that? There is a reason those lights flash, it's because a kid is likely in the street or going to be in the street and you shouldn't be running them over.
Quit being an asshole and obey the lights.
Kids, when walking along the side of the street early in the morning to get to the bus stop do us a favor and try to wear anything but all black, WE CAN'T FUCKING SEE YOU. I understand your arrogant little ass thinks it has a right to walk in the street, fine, really, but wear something that I CAN SEE YOU before it's too late. Honestly, how fucking hard is it to realize wearing all dark colors before the sun comes up is a bad idea?
Parents, I understand you want your kid in a warm car/house right up until they have to get on the bus, but 40 degree weather isn't going to kill them and when the bus has 30 or so cars lined up behind it's slow ass I don't want to wait till the bus comes to a complete stop, 8 kids get on the bus then you let your kid out of the car/house to walk (at their own damn leisure) 50 yards to the bus.
Bus drivers, when you let kids on the bus at a stop where there are a lot of cars and you wave all those cars out in front of you, making me and 30 other cars wait in the process, it pisses us off because we've already been waiting because of their kids, I don't want to way any longer. You see, I'm out there at that hour because I'm going to work, not because I'm joy riding.
Most important here is to stop running kids over. Everyone involved is being an asshole, but nobody needs run over because of it.
