Hawkeye, disagree that the Illini O will be more conservative with Beutjer. The Illinois offense is a conservative offense to begin with, predicated on running the ball and a precisely timed passing game. Turner will have the usual playbook ready to go. The struggles on offense so far have been a result of poor blocking up front and poor timing in the short passing game. Not to mention that the defense can't tackle.
With that said, this line is either a sucker's line or someone in Vegas has erred terribly. I'm leaning toward the former. However, I will still have to play small on Ark St. because I completely agree that Illinois shouldn't be giving 32 to anyone in the country at this point in the season.
