I'm getting sick of seeing them get blown out in big primetime hyped up games. Can the networks just agree to stash them away to the Big Ten network and noon ESPN games where they can beat up on the other shitty BIG-10 Teams please :00x8

I'd rather be watching reruns of the Gong show now.

Because the Big 10 is a weak conference overall. Who is going to step up... Wisconsin and maybe Penn State are the only ones in my opinion.

Ohio State at Wisconsin on Oct. 4 and home to Penn State on Oct. 25

Wisconsin hosts Penn State on Oct. 11.

If the Badgers get by both OSU and PSU, see the Badgers in Pasadena. Unfortunately, if OSU beats Whisky... then I think the Buckeyes will go to the Rose Bowl. Hey, at least they won't have to play an SEC team.

Penn St is the best team in the weak Big 10.

They will go to the Horseshoe and beat OSU.

From what I've seen, I agree with your first statement.....however, your second statement, I'll believe it when I see it only because PSU has had zero success at the horseshoe since its joined the big televen.

I am no OSU lover, so I am sure I will be pulling for PSU in that game regardless, and I hope your prediction comes true. :toast:

I'm no OSU fan, but the game was closer than the final score. USC head and shoulders better though.

I doubt OhioSt completely goes away. They are very similar to FloridaSt in the 90's. Really good team that plays in a bad conference, sets up an easy non-conference schedule except for one big game, which they play early. If they win, its great. If they lose, they can climb the polls the rest of the year.

FSU would play Miami back then. Win or lose, they'd walk thru the ACC and get into the top 5 and their season would come down to beating Florida...

Bowden looked like the greatest coach ever while Spurrier had to get through the SEC. Huge difference.

That's why all we need for the nat'l championship is for conference winners to form an 8-team playoff around the bowls. Let OSU win the Big10 and then make them win 3 games against the big boys to win it all, rather than getting put directly into title game and taking title shots away from others.

Holding on OSU takes away TD. How about calling holding on the INT Return, grabbing Boeckman's jersey? How about calling the blatant pick pass? USC held their "fair" share and they let it go, but called a huge one on Buckeyes that changed the whole game.

Again, Trojans way better, but not 35-3 better. Probably more like 28-10 better....

I could agree w/ most of that.

I also dont think USC is the best team in country, but that is another debate I guess.

The game went about how I thought in the first half until the holding penalty and missed FG left Buckeyes down 14-3. Then the pick-6 near end of half ended it.

If its 14-10 or even just 14-6 there, perhaps Tressel plays a lot more conservative, runs/punts, and goes in at halftime one possession down.

Long way to go to say who is best team in the nation. I think USC is deserving of #1 for now.
