I haven't followed them this season, but I watched some of the game yesterday and couldn't figure out what their problem was. I saw vick picking up huge yardage, getting the team to the red zone, and then bogging down settling for field goals. bunch of dropped passes too. what is going on? i'm scared to bet on their games without some insight.

defensively they have lost about 5 starters. There two defensive ends which is killing them.
Offensively they are not running the ball which is what they do best.

A simple (yet smartass) answer is that when the clock struck all zeroes, they have been ahead in the score five times and behind in the score six. Hence a five and six record.

Not trying to be a dick, just having a little fun.

They have what i feel is the worst coach in the NFL but you cant blame him for yesterdays lost. No quarterback is gonna progress under this guy. He should be gone after this year. the o-line always stinks and nobody but vick can gain more than three yards. The defense is average at best. Throw in the fact that when there is big money bet on Vick he somehow forgets how to play and his receivers forget how to catch. Bet them when the heavy money is not on them and you should be alright. I think i covered everything.

I couldnt agree more..........I have thought since JM JR was hired the guy was in way over his head.........he was lucky to have 1 good year and thats when he was very fortunate to get a very poor St Louis rams team in the first round of the playoffs.........otherwise I believe thats the only playoff game they have won.............After seeing JMJR coach falcon fans are wishing they had Dan Reeves back............

And how fu**ing stupid is Jim Mora for saying Vick is a coach killer when his son is the coach.........I seriously cant imagine how dumb of a comment that is to make or agree with when your son is coaching the team. If it comes down to getting rid of Mick Vick or Jim Mora Jr. who do you think the Falcons will let go??????

Gee Jim.........let me guess we have millions invested in Vick and pennies invested in your son.........."duh"

2 words.... Michael Vick. This guy should be returning kickoffs, not throwing the ball downfield! A running QB in the NFL with no real respect from defenses of being burned thru the air will get you 5-6 all day. Although this did wonders in Blacksburg... :mj07:

Mav if you watch him he does some of the dumbest moves i ever saw a coach make. About two or three games back he challenge a call that had no chance of winning. Im thinking why even challenge this so early in the third quarter when your gonna lose a timeout and your challenge and it was a spot call. Low in behold he lost the timeout and needed the challenge later in the game. He is one of those coaches where none of his players get better and his dad stunk to. Oh the comment was brilliant. How does Jr look his QB in the eye after dumb dad makes that brilliant comment? I think i would have kicked my dad in the nuts. One thing Dan Reeves could do was draft and he would have surrounded he with a lot more players by now. Problem with reeves is he can't coach this type of athlete anymore. they wont listen to them. They know everything.
