What is a "Canadian Line"? Is it a money line attched to a "puck line"?

LOL Frogy, you're sure right about that.

Red Raider: yes, I think your guess is correct, the so-called Canadian Line is the combined puck and money line.

i.e.
PIT -0.5 -125
or PIT +1.5 -150
or PIT +0.5 +135

etc.

What is this crap? I was lookin for a money line and this is what my book said they offered!

Time to switch books, eh!

You guys are right, a puckline with a moneyline attatched, similar to the runline/moneyline comparison in baseball. I always take the moneyline on dogs, I will risk a push with a tie to get the extra juice my way on a win, the number will be in your favor in the long run. Laying the half on the favorite is a game by game decision.
