Canucks recall three from AHL
VANCOUVER (AP) -- Defenceman Nolan Baumgartner, right wing Pat Kavanagh and centre Jason King were recalled Sunday by the Vancouver Canucks from AHL club Manitoba.
Vancouver lost left wing Brad May and centre Mats Lindgren to injuries during Saturday s 1-0 loss to Toronto.
May was knocked unconscious by Mats Sundin's hit and was taken off the ice on a stretcher. He had a concussion and was scheduled for more tests Sunday.
Lindgren injured his back against Toronto.
Baumgartner played six games with Vancouver this season, scoring his first NHL goal. He has eight goals and 31 assists in 59 games with Manitoba.
Kavanagh has 24 points in 54 AHL games this season. He made his NHL debut with the Canucks earlier this month.
King, a 2001 draft pick, has 17 goals and 19 assists in 64 games as an AHL rookie.
