The Boston Red Sox take on the St. Louis Cardinals tonight in the rubber match of a three-game interleague series at Fenway Park.

Boston have scored at least eight runs in five of their last seven games. St Louis are 34-29 this season to be third in the NL Central. Right-hander Garrett Stephenson has dropped three straight decisions and last time out suffered the loss against Baltimore when he allowed five runs on seven hits in 5 2/3 innings. He has allowed one home run every two innings over his last 12 2/3 frames. The 31 year-old is winless this season on the road, going 0-3 with a 3.77 ERA. Overall he is 3-5, 4.81 ERA and tonight faces the Red Sox for the first time in his career.
The Cards are 12-17 (.413) on the road while the Red Sox are 19-10 (.655) at home.
