I wear cargo shorts during the day almost everyday during the warm weather....

I wear them because of the many pockets it has....

Very practical for me....

I must be a stooge because I love them. Especially in Vegas. Plenty of pockets for chips, wallet, smokes and cell phone.

I agree that they don't look the best. But when I hit 40 I started caring more about function and less about fashion.

Now if I can just figure out how to get my first Royal...

I still wear them quite often. I just cannot get with the flat front shirts that are "in" at the moment. Guess I prefer the sloppy look. :shrug:

Cargo shorts aren't that horrible. What makes me shake my head and say no way is jean shorts.
And it seems every middle aged male in the upper Midwest owns a pair--
And wears them with white calf length athletic socks and new balance running shoes.
