Panthers have won games every way imaginable. They have won in nail-biters and blowouts this year. They have won with defense when the offense was struggling and with offense when the defense was struggling. They have won all season with their fair share of injuries yet backups have come in and not only competed but starred.
They have had great special teams play, great coaching, they lead the league in turnovers. They have standouts on every level of the defense and the offensive line is peaking. Not to mention these guys are big. They walk off the bus looking like a football team. Just a very tough team to beat.
The giants run game is their major problem, but Eli Manning showed he could run the offence without it. Eli had as many touchdowns as incompletions monday night. He was 27/31 with 336 yds 0 ints and 4 TDs. But the Miami Dolphins suck and the Panthers have an amazing Defense.
On the other hand, the Giants defense is probably at its worst in the last 30 years. Their offense is really just Beckham Jr. Randle is in lala land right now playing uninspired football. He doesn't even try to take pressure off of Beckham Jr. and can't wait to finish out his contract and go elsewhere to try to be #1 WR. Worst of all, the Giants don't have any passrush to speak of to take pressure off defensive secondary.

as a Giant fan you are dead on. You didn't need to buy any points, this will be ugly. Unless Riverboat Ron convinces his guys to show some mercy. If I didn't have bills to pay I would've put my life savings on Carolina today :142smilie

Pierre Paul makes a HUGE difference to that defense.....but I don't think it'll be enough. Close game though
the 1 armed bandit is more of a hindrance. You mean to tell me he is better than having a guy out there who could use 2 hands to grab/tackle with?!?! As a fan I wish I was wrong but as a gambler I'm glad I was right. Just wish I bet a lot more. They piss me off, Beckhams lucky he didn't get tossed, he's definitely gettin a nice fine next week:toast:

Buying points came through for me on this play. Hard to believe that Eli would bring them back like that. It concerns me about future Carolina plays to let a team pass on them like that.
