Didn't get to watch the game (don't have ESPNU anymore) but kept up with it most of the way.
Don't know much about Rutgers but UNC defense played their ass off today. Gave up 2 FG's and the only TD came on a 20-yard drive after a fumble. The next to last Rutgers drive was frustrating b/c they converted a couple 3rd/long and one 4th/long, but they got an INT to end it.
As for the 3rd and 2....it was tough. I was hoping for something safe but they needed to get a 1st down too. Keep in mind we were at their own 15.
Also keep in mind we are without our entire starting secondary as well as other key positions and depth. Good victory for the Heels...like I say, don't know much about Rutgers this year but good to get a win....and money

well aware of carolina`s handicap...they`re the better club..i was frustrated as hell on that next to last drive....it looked for should like they were gonna blow it....
but that call on 3rd and 2 was horrndous....their short passing game was almost unstoppable...that play started 7 yards in their own backfield with rutgers crowding the line of scrimmage...
i don`t know what davis was thinking there...the announcers agreed...
