I remembered how bad the turf was the last
home game and was wondering if anyone has
inside info on what they're doing to improve.

I already like the under with the strong
saints D and the weak Panther O.

Any insight would be appreciated..

Good Luck

From Charlotte, NC:

The NFL Players Association has approved the sod installed last week at Ericsson Stadium for this weeks game against New Orleans according to Gene Upshaw.

An NFL representative was in Charlott Monday touring Ericsson Stadium's field, which was re-sodded over the weekend in preparation for Sunday's game against New Orleans. Tim Davey, the NFL's assistant director of game operations, walked on the new surface and was pleased, according to Panthers spokesman Charlie Dayton.
After the Panthers' Sept.30 home opener against Green Bay, in which the field came
apart in chunks, the sod was pulled up and
replaced with a heavier, thicker sand-based turf. Coach George Seifert said the Panthers
likely would get a chance to inspect the
field before Friday, but that the team
wouldn't practice on it.
A representative from the NFL Players
Association could check the field this week
as well.
