Just wanted to see what type of cars us Madjackers drive daily, or have owned in our lifetime.

I have owned 3 vehicles so far, a 1987 Mustang, a 1992 BMW 325i, and currently own a 1996 Trans Am with a modified 383 Engine in it

none
'74 Ford Maverick, '78 VW Rabbit, '87 Accord, '93 Sentra, 97 Ranger and now a 99 Subaru. Since I have known my wife she has had an 88 Accord, a 92 Civic, 91 Accord, and now a 2001 Civic. If you are married you know why I count those as owning too. Man, that is a lot.

Have had an array in my time. 1st 3 were all 55 chevy's but the one I would love to have back was a mid year addition 1970 1/2 which was a limited production AAR Cuda.Came out in florescent colors with flat black fiberglass hoods and spoilers.Factory Dana rear ends,340 6pack (3 deuces)and the only gas I could burn without spark knock was Sunoco's 270 blended.
Only 2 cars in town I couldn't beat,Butches 396/375 horse Chevelle and Winchester's Hemi RT.
Those were the good ole days my friends.

My first car was a 1969 Olds 442. Just got back from Vietnam and had saved enough for downpayment. Wrecked the thing 5 miles from my house after having driven 490 miles from Camp LeJeune. Not even a month old. Should have been totalled. Never was. Had a bent axle and I went through bearings like toothbrushes.

humble beginnings:

in 1963 while on overseas duty, a 1950 nash station wagon, no lights, perforated radiator, empty battery. 50 bucks, meaning i could only drive it at night, carry a 5 gallon water container and only park it on a hill so i could roll it to a start.

then, in 1966, a small mercury for free, that lasted about a week.

a 1970 plymouth duster (new)about 1,900

a 1968 lesabre in 1974 for 1,100

a 19something fiat for 100 and for kicks.

a 1982 impala new, about 9,000

a 1978 olds cutlass in 1983 for about 700

a 1984 lesabre new, about 11,000.-

a 1987 buick grand national new for app.17m

a 1990 caravan for about 16,000

a 1992 ford taurus for about 18m

a 1990 buick lesabre for about 8m

a 1996 olds cutlass for about 15m

i probably forgot one or two.

the last two i still have.

and i am only 25!!!!

Just lost my baby..1976 Porsche Turbo.I put $83,000 into TOTAL restoration. There were 400 made and I could only trace 2 left.Fire spread REAL fast,Burns not too bad but a total write off..I cried...It was a 930, that's why only 400 made .Had engine 'juiced'and it would kick ass.I have to be thankfull I was'nt killed,But I keep looking at pix. of my baby and it hurts..Hope you guys understand..Luck to all....Spanky..Got a Lincoln for 'normal' everyday driving...
