They were talking on ESPN radio this morning about who was the best receivers during Chris Carter's career. They didn't really consider Moss, since their careers only overlapped 4 years. Everyone was in agreement that Jerry Rice was # 1 but the guys on the radio felt that they would take Tim Brown and Michael Irvin over Carter. I'm no fan of Carter, but it would be hard to argue that those two receivers have had better careers. Irvin always had Emmitt Smith to keep the defense honest and Brown always had some burner on the other side to open things up. Carter has had Moss for the last 4 years but I don't think Jake Reed is Canton-bound. If I was a QB and needed a completion and had those 3 to throw to, I'd look for Carter first.
