I need some advice for this one. I'm leaning towards the younger Lujan to edge Castillo. Castillo doesn't seem to give a damn anymore. He just gave it to Hatton and failed to make weight against Bradley. Comments would be appreciated.

P.S. I couldn't find a thread for this fight...sorry if this is a duplicate.

i'd stay away from this one

betting lujan seems too easy but if you got money to throw for some giggles...

of course Lujan @ +450 is a no brainer, but he's a favorite now

"the bunker"
it`s gonna be fun seeing castillo at....147!!

either he`s been dying trying to make weight the last few years....or,after so many wars he doesn`t have it in him to get into primo shape....

we`ll get a clue tonight...

i really think he`s got his hands full here..even if he wins,i suspect it`s gonna be a difficult night...

both guys are "stand in the pocket" fighters.....

If JLC has ANYTHING left, he wins.

I really want to pull the trigger on JLC as underdog but I am staying away.

Good luck.

congrats on the +450 hit !

that was a sad beating towards the end

man the sportsbooks really were way off on the opening line for this one

with the weight and age difference lujan was just way too much for castillo

congrats to all who got lujan !

Oh Man!!

I'm glad the Bradley fight did not happen. With his speed, it would be a massacre.

I did not bet tonight but I am pissed that I missed that +450 opener at 5 dimes.

Shame on JLC management for putting him in there with a multiple punching machine such as Lujan at this stage of his career. This was going to be a tough fight no matter who won.:nono:

Agreed 100%, makes no sense , Lujan has campaigned at 154. If Castillo needed a few more fights and to put food on the table for his family, dumb move.

thanks ghost kid and gw, i bought back JLC at even money for a nearly equal scalp, so i was hardly confident in either side. lol. congrats to those who actually capped it and got it right!

castillo looked terrible, a bout with tim bradley would make us rich. apparently he struggled to even make 147lbs and looked ill at the weigh-in much like 140lbs. a prime castillo would have picked this guy apart with uppercuts especially. 5d probably just looked at the names and made the line based on achievements (they opened JLC -750!!!!), not accounting for his terrible decline.
