I have both eyes done and see very well without glasses after over 10 yrs.

Wife is going in June for left eye. She is having a new special lenz and laser surgery. The recovery is much easier with lazer instead of scapel.

The insurance co wont pay for the new type lenz or the laser but we are going to get it anyway. Your eyes are too important to not get the best you can.

I had both my eyes done 2 years ago. I opted for the Toric lenses in both eyes. It was great being able to see again. 20/20 both eyes now.

Get used to drops when you go in they give you about 30 doses before surgery. Oh and the drops don't stop after the surgery you still have about 3 weeks of putting them in 3 times a day.

Insurance will not cover the upgrades to special lens. I paid 3500 and will pay 2500 next eye. If you just your cataracts corrected it is covered but you have to wwear full time glasses. I had RK done in92 but have ad a lot of regression. So far I can tell I can see way better just not sure what my sight is. They don't guarantee 20-20 but some get it
