I know I'm old but that might have been the worst all star performance I've ever seen. What the hell was that? Looked like a bunch of 8th graders got together and wrote a song and then decided to hum it in a high voice....

I agree. It used to be a fun weekend b/c they didn't over-hype it. You'd have the 3-pt contest and dunk contest and then the all star game on Sunday.
Seems like they've lessened the 3-pt contest and that can still be good. I liked it when they had guys going head to head with the split screen.....don't think they were actually going head to head, just at the same time.
There's not a whole lot more you can do with the dunk contest. For the most part, its all been done and we all found that out over 10 years ago.
Blake's final round pretty much summed up the whole NBA. Just hype it up like Kenny Smith did with the "official car of the nba" no less and then have him do a dunk that half the league could easily do.
I know they are marketing to people a lot younger than me (mid-30's) but its all such a joke and frustrating to have to put up with.
