there is a guy at another forum who makes plays based on weather...here is what he had to say about this game....
"front will be moving into the area friday evening accompanied by thunderstorms and locally heavy rain......molson stadium at mcgill univ is fairly exposed to the elements as best as I can tell"
here is a system on this game that i found....
play under - home teams where the total is between 49.5 and 56 (montreal) - after covering the spread in 2 out of their last 3 games, with a winning record on the season playing another winning team.....
since 1996 the ats record is....32-10.......76.2%
the average total posted in these games was....53
the average score in these games was...team 29.3,opponent 18.9....total points scored.....48.2.....
a few trends....
sas. is 6-0 under in road games vs. good offensive teams - scoring 29 or more points/game over the last 2 seasons.....
the average score was sas. 16.0,opponent 29.7....total points scored....45.7...
sas. is 7-0 under vs. against teams who force 2.5 or more turnovers/game on the season over the last 3 seasons.....
the average score was sas. 21.9,opponent 22.1...total points scored.....44....
