1st pick of CFL Season
------------------------------

MTL @ CAL Over 53.5 (Olympic)

got in on this one early.....by game time can see the Total going up to 54.5 at some places

waiting to see if Calgary jumps up to +3.5........if it jumps to +4.0 I'll take it for sure :) In my opinion Montreal won't win the east this year........just look at who they have lost... Lawrence Phillips to Calgary and Mike Pringle and Thomas Haskins to Edmonton. Also gone is receiver Pat Woodcock (NFL). And they lost their kicker (Terry Baker) to retirement.

Does anyone else think Phillips will have a big game against his former team

Anyway......I like the Over but I'm going to wait on the spread line......see if it jumps up to +3.5/+4.0

In my opinion both the total and the gameline will come down. I believe the total will be about 52.5 while you may even see some 2.5's out there tomorrow on Calgary and most definitely a lot of 3's.

Yeah good point Robbo.......although I disagree with you on the total :)

guess it's wishful thinking that Calgary goes to +3.5...although some casinos in Nevada had (or have) it at +3.5 for a while.....but that does me no good

With that being said I will be surprised if the number goes lower then 3.0.........maybe I should just take the +3.0 now huh :p I'll wait and see if it moves or not

For those of you interested in MoneyLine.....Calgary probably pays quite nice :)

EDMONTON -5.5 (non sponsor) to beat MONTREAL

Think everybody and their dog expects Winnipeg, Ottawa and Edmonton to win staright up.........so guess it's not much of a shocker that I have Edmonton and Winnipeg to beat the spread :p

as for the Hamilton game..........got a funny feeling about that one.....of course I just had McDonalds so maybe that's why I got that funny feeling :D I'm actually seeing if the line gets to +3.0 in the Hamilton game.....if so I might actually take Hamilton

(heard that maybe....and I emphasise...MAYBE....that Slack might play for Hamilton....have to wait and see???)

now for a Pro-Line play (Ontario Sports Lottery):

Under 48.5 Ottawa and Hamilton
Winnipeg -3.5 to beat BC

odds= $3.24 :eek: :eek:

wow....sweeeeeeeeeeeet odds and getting 48.5 in Ottawa game and -3.5 in Winnipeg game is nice :p

now for those of you who are wondering how I got away with a two team parlay instead of the mandatory 3 team parlay (Pro Line Rules state that must play 3 games) I just added the Philly baseball game to my ticket.......but the Philly game has been postponed so that game will be voided :p

ok..........hope I cash in on some Pro-Line action
