YTD 0-0
Montreal -11.5 @ Toronto O/U 53.5
Montreal should beable to dominate this game but it being the season opener and all its a tough call. Montreal is missing two key DB's but that shouldn't hurt them too much against the Argo's offence. Argo's Off Co-ordinator plans on testing them early but I don't think they will be too succesfull. Toronto will come out a bit too excited (creating possible early Turnovers), while Montreal will be ready to play. Montreal will grind things along the ground with Pringle and should control the tempo of the game. Toronto has improved their defensive players this season but has yet to show improvement during the pre-season. -11.5 is a little too high for me so I'll take Montreal -6 1st half as I think Montreal will get the early lead and hopefully be up by a TD at half. I also like the Under in this game. Pringle and the Als will control the clock on the ground and Toronto will have a tough time scoring. As long as Toronto can play a little D tonight and not give up 40+pts this should go Under.
Montreal -6 1st half 1.1 to win 1.0
Mon/Tor Under 53.5 1.1 to win 1.0
Winnipeg @ Calgary -6.5 O/U 58
Calgary finally do not have a Dominating QB... that is something they have always had. They will be starting a rookie there which is usually a concern in the CFL. But the talent level of Calgary's offence is just too high that even with a Rookie they shouldn't fare too bad. Will probably struggle early but will pick up as the game goes on. Winnipeg will struggle thru the air and have a tough time scoring. Usually these two teams would produce allot of pts but tonight should be different. Rookie QB for CAl + tough home crowd in Calgary will make it tough on Winnipeg. So under is the play. Also like Calgary here to cover as I think the Home field advantage will play a large role and as the game goes on they will pull away and win by double digits...
Cal/Win Under 58 1.1 to win 1.0
Cal -6.5 1.1 to win 1.0
