YTD: 27-14-1 (+47.88 Units)
Took the week off last week to kick it out in the NHL.. now back in business...

3 team teasers 6 pts

Toronto +1 + Calgary -0.5 + Sask +1 (Laying 5 units to win 9)
;)

Winnipeg is a MASH units and their best RB wont even be playing plus Toronto with a W gets the first place in the East, Calgary will have Burris back at QB against a Montreal team that is going nowhere since their turmoil with theit head coach and Sask playing a desperate Eskies team that havent name their starting qb yet since Lefors is likely out!!!:scared I like my chance with that teaser.

Will parlay Calgary and Toronto on the ML for 5 units as soon as i see some lines...

that's all folks! ;)

Will

Got confirmation this morning (now it is all over the news...) that Calvillo is taking a leave of absence and will certainly not be back in time for saturday's game vs Calgary. Anyway, with his wife sick i dont think he will be mentally ready...

buying 5 points on Calgary -2 -260 (to win 5 units)

Stamps should AT LEAST wins by a FG this saturday. buying the points just in case... If you were here by the way, it is all over the news again this week the relations between Popp the Head coach of the Al's and his players.... :nono: Journalists wants his head and players are tired of his big ego trip... It smells bad, very bad..:nono: Calgary in a rout!!! :)

Tremendous respect for your capping skills 1837.

Just curious 1837; the last time Calvillo missed a game, the Alouettes crushed the team they were playing(forgot what team that was) & I think your call was against Montreal.
Wouldn't it then be fair to speculate that the Alouettes would play BETTER against Calgary if A.Calvillo is absent ?
Especially if other players resent his attitude ?

Very much appreciate your posts 1837.

Keep up the great work:00hour

You are bringing a good point (it was against BC) but Montreal got crushed too the other 2 games Calvillo was out. The main factor here is mostly an anti-play over the team spirits wich is at is lowest since day 1... Guys just want to go home and end the season... Head coach is killing them and he will be fire by the owner next year...

Deucer, my info is that Burris will get the nod... ;) Lines will move... ;)

Sask were just pathetic...:mj1: They let their back up play instead of trying to eliminate Edmonton from the playoff... That was the worst thing that could have happened to us because now Montreal needs to win (or next week) to make sure they are in the playoff while the eskies are now still alive... :( awful Sask performance and now Montreal has incentives to play for so i feel much less incline with my Calgary pick...
Have to edge NOW before line drops to Montreal +7 before gametime (you'll see line making a big move down from +10 to +7 or so with that Edmonton wins...)

Adding:
Teasers Toronto +1 with Montreal +16.5 Laying 5.5 units to win 5

Let's just hope Stamps will have more pride than Sask and will let play their regular instead of back up so we can still hope for a 3 pts + by Calgary but less than 17 ...

If you have made a bet on Calgary at -6.5 or so i would seriously think edging with Montreal in a teaser.... All this because of Sask who didnt wanna show tonight... :(

WTF!!!:scared :mj07: :142smilie

I went to bed when Edmonton were cruising, leading by 15 with less than 10 min left, Sask were awful and now i see they won in OT????:mj07: :142smilie :mj07:
Now Al's have nothing to play for (except for pride and maybe playing hard for Calvillo's wife) they are in!!! Still stuck with my late teaser....:142smilie

Equation is easy: Toronto win couple with a Calgary win by 3-16 points = Jackpot!!! I just hope Calgary wont crush them too hard and that Toronto wont let me down!!!

Hope to have a nice recap! ;)

Follow-up on Calg/Montreal finish

Follow-up on Calg/Montreal finish

Here's an interesting coaching move from this evening : Montreal @ Calgary CFL.

Calgary trailed 33-25 and scored a TD with four minutes and change remaining.

They elected to kick the extra-point instead of going for two. The announcers said that their coach never goes for two unless there are less than three minutes remaining.

Calgary lost 33-32.
