Here are this week's lines:

Montreal -7 over toronto total 49 1/2

Edmonton -13 1/2 over ottawa total 52

Winnipeg -5 1/2 total 53 1/2

Calgary -2 over saskatchewan total 49

At first, i like Montreal -7 and Sask +2. Might tease them...:)

I will follow 1837's original thinking:

teaser Mon(-1)/sask(+8)
...Home teams off a loss of 15+ were 1-7 ATS last yr (Toronto), and Toronto drew poor attendance all of last yr.
...Sask looks like a respectable home dog at 1-0 and having closed 2001 pretty well.

One stat on Calgary:
...Road Favs which allowed 25+ last gm were 0-5 ATS last yr.

Anybody know where CFL logs for years older than 2001 can be found? Could be useful.

Thx and GL.

toronto will try to play defense against montreal but they were bang against winnipeg and things wont change this week.
too many question marks.

davis williams are oke but no QB in toronto how do you want them to succeed when you dont have stability at a key position specially at the start of the season.

I dont think that the attack wont be able to create anything in the air and on the ground they dont have anyone to carry the ball.

Montreal minus 7 looks like too easy. I m also leaning at the under

Been busy all week.... haven;t had time to post my thoughts on this week.... but heres what I'm playing so far..

I really like the following... but i'm also noting that I'm playing it large due to some luck I've had elsewhere and have some extra $$ to put on this one....

Montreal -4 1st Half 2.2 to win 2.0
Montreal -7 Game 5.5 to win 5.0
Montreal ML -(300) 4.1 to win 1.4

Winnipeg -5.5 2.2 to win 2.0

And leaning towards the Over in the winnipeg game...

Gotta go...

I agree.... but I already have Montreal -7 HUGE and on the ML huge..... so I will stay away from the 2nd half line I think... But Toronto can not do anything... and their points were handed to them.... Gotta give the edge to Montreal.... they don't look as explosive as they have in previous years though....

What were they thinking on that 3rd and 1 at midfield??? just about cost me the first half cover... If they are gonna go for it they should just have the QB push forward... I hate when they give it 4-5 yards behind the line of scrimmige with all the D lined up on the line.... seems to fail quite a lot!

Anyways... go ALS! :Yep:

Way to go ALS!!! I am still really confused as to why the line was only -7..... and that it didn't even really move all week... I posted -15 as what I thought the line shoulda been... hence the reason I played it large today.. Als coulda blown em out more than they did.... 2nd half they showed a little more scoring power!

Anways
3-0 on that game +8.4 units!!:spotting:
