Hey guy's,
I was very adamant about my felling on the Tampa,San Fran game last week. I do think the NFL wanted to see the 49ers out of the playoffs because of the mistakes that were made to keep them in the week before. As I pointed out in another thread there were only 70 yards difference in the game, aand that was with the 49'ers playing 2 safeties at corner and every single offensive lineman playing with banged up ankle's.Tampa had the luxury of playing at home, well rested, and in this capper's opinion, the benefit of the doubt on EVERY call in the game. Having said that:
Today they go on the road,(according to Raymond it's 12 degrees and windy),playing an opponet that has owned them.Tampa has been very average vs. the top level team's this year. They are facing one today. This defense is awesome. They will blitz early and often. If you watched the 49'er game last week, you saw them struggle BIG TIME in that situation. The corner-wide reciever match-up greatly favor's Philly alsn the other side of the ball you have to be impressed that the Eagle's offense has clicked right along REGARDLESS of who was playing QB.The fact that McNabb came back in his first game in month's and didn't miss a beat, speak's volume's of how what kind of rhythm this unit is in.
Tampa has only won 2 of there last 11 on the road vs. a winning opponet, while Philly has won 90% of their home games by a touchdown or more this season.I would say that's pretty dominate.Bottom line is Philly is the better team,I know it seems like everyone and their brother is picking the Eagle's,why wouldn't they? The only angle I find that favor's the Buc's is simply the contrarian. That's not enough for me.
Philadelphia -4 4 units:yup
I'll be back later with any total play's and the late game
