im shocked to see barcalona at +700 to win the champs league.they had decent chance last year and i think they are even better this year.i think they should be the fave to win it.not to mention they got a cake walk draw in the group stage.im as confident as you can be for a soccer tourny(futures in soccer suck)1 man team,but i still love this play and the value.

My book has Barca at +500 so it looks like +700 are some really nice odds.
But, to me, Juventus +950 is the best bet. They got shocked by Liverpool last year but I think they are one of the 3-4 strongest teams in Europe and they are the only one of those teams that is more concerned about the Champs league than their domestic league. They have made a point to say that. They are the favorites in my book. But like you said, soccer futures are risky and in a tourney where one bad game could end it all its especailly.

Watch out for Leo Messi with Barcelona! This 18-year old Argentine is being hailed as the next Maradona and was named Player of the Tournament at the recent U-20 World Cup where he led Argentina to the title.

Inter finishes 3rd in the league last year gets the best draw in the tournement while 1st place Juve gets put behind Bayern in their group and #2/Champs League finalists Milan gets put in the group of death with PSV and Schalke?
by eliminating chelsea today,i think their biggest obstacle is behind them.still cant believe they had barca at +700,but im still along way from cashing in.upsets are to common in soccer,but i like my chances.
We are both still alive w/Juve +950 and Barca +700. (I threw some on Lyon as well at huge odds). Hopefully those teams don't draw each other in the next round! Also, I think we are looking even better as some very average teams have snuck through to the final 8 - Villareal, Benfica, Arsenal, Inter/Ajax winner.

game day is finally here,for the most part im letting it ride,but im going to play the 90 min draw at +230 for300 to win 790.i can see an overtime thriller here,barca wins in ot its a huge day they lose in ot atleast i get my orignal wager back and a couple 100. arsenal wins in regulaton (i dont see it happening)i continue my losing streak and my break from wagering until the world cup.Barca wins this thing and my $$$$ for the world cup and the rest of the mls season is set...-1000 for the mls season so far ,some bad beats so regrouping ,havent wagerd at all fo a few weeks looking to get back in after today,if they lose will be back for the wcup..gl.

Think that you've done all you can to get into this favorable position with the best team. To put it in poker terms, youre the preflop favorite with all your chips in, but anything can happen.

took 9 months but it finally paid off very nicely.feels good hitting a +700 wager!!for a minute their i thought i may hit my little hedge play but cant be greedy,thats what got me in trouble with my mls plays so far this year ,playing a few teams to win at big dog prices instead of the + 1/2 goals put me in a little hole..as for the game i did get a little lucky ,i figured with a man down early arsenal only chance at a goal would be from a set peice ,and if they went down 1-0 barca would kill them on the counters.arsenal got that set peice goal and the 1-0 lead i was getting nervous even though barca dominated the rest of the way ,ive seen this situation 100 times with the game ending 1-0 b/c a the team with the advantage just cant get that goal.add ronaldino not having one of his better games and i couldve easily lost this one and that wouldve really sucked....barca proved thay are a TEAM,having the goalie being the one that was ejected and not a somebody else is the main reason i won this one that backup was not as good as their starter and the 2 goals he let by were savable.ill take being lucky in this game b/c i think after watching that game arsenal wouldve won it if not for the red card,still think barca would beat them 7 out of 10 times but that game that night shouldve been arsenals...btw guys ive got the oilers to win the cup in hockey at +4500 this would be my biggest dog win ever and i think they can do it..i thought i posted it at the beging of the yhockey season checked my old posts and i did kind of,check it out.

not good so far this year ,took a really bad beat 3 weeks ago and i havent wagerd since on mls.im down 1000 on the season i should be getting back into capping it this week .last 2 seasons in mls have been huge for me, and even this year ive had the right sides but just have had some bad breaks,and now with quite a few players gone for the world cup soon,be on the lookout for a few big dogs to hit. gl to usInSpades said:
