I disagree slightly. I like it when the best team wins (and in this case, covers) and it was clear who the best teams were. New England was the best team in the AFC and only Dallas could make an argument in the NFC to being better than Atlanta.

We can say for sure the two best teams are in the SuperBowl and that is all you can hope for from Championship weekend. I don't want the games closer just so Rodgers can wing up a prayer with 6 seconds left and backdoor his way to the SuperBowl only to watch New England kill them. I didn't want to see the Steelers get in only to have Atlanta hang 100 on them either.

Not the two most compelling games, but the right reams won and we have a SuperBowl worth watching.

Going into yesterday, I think most everyone thought we had two great games worth watching.

What happens if one of these teams lays an egg in two weeks? We get a 34-10 game, and does the crying start all over?

Pats are the cream of crop

Atlanta is hottest and healthiest team

I heard today that Atlanta is as of now going to have the same starting 11 on offense that they did opening day....being that healthy heading into super bowl is rare but even more so spectacular

Brady has a chance for 5 rings which is unprecedented and Matty ice has a chance to cement himself in super bowl history for the first time of career.....falcons first title looming?

Lots of story lines and def. The best 2 teams....Pitt was the clear #2 team in AFC but not their best showing....hoodie can do that to ya....they were only offense who could've scored enough to beat new england but tomlin got dominated badly in the coaching department

ATL was somewhat tested playing Seattle's vaunted d and Rodgers on a roll

Pats got 2 byes essentially with Houston not being a top 12 teams in the league but then dominated a prolific offense

Should be awesome game with the 2 best teams

Maybe, but that's not something we can control. If every game went according to form then gambling would be easy, wouldn't it? I think what we got was the best chance at a decent SuperBowl and that is all we can ask for, even if the road to it made for boring games to watch.

I know you are a Packers fan and I'm a Steelers fan, but the best teams won yesterday and showed they were vastly superior while doing it. I got not problem with that because I can see the Steelers may have had a record number of points put up against them if they played Atlanta and hopefully you can admit that Pats would have handed the Pack their ass. Neither of those options is very compelling.

I have no doubt the two teams that moved on deserved it. My point is, are we supposed to bitch every time there is a blowout, and complain, "If so-and-so had played, it would have been a better game"?

I understand a 35-33 game would be really fun to watch, but if it is 44-10, are we saying the loser shouldn't have been there?

I wouldn't, but that's just me. I think the four teams that played yesterday all deserved to be there and the two teams that clobbered the other two deserved to win. I firmly believe the Steelers were the second best team in the AFC, but a distant second to the Pats. It played out exactly that way. Doesn't mean that KC should have been there in our place and nor does it mean if Atlanta wins the SuperBowl 44-10 that NE doesn't belong there.

I think the two teams playing are the ones who deserve to be there, but that doesn't guarantee a tight game.

10 games in the post season clearly showed who the best teams are RIGHT NOW..

these 2 teams were better than anyone who played in the post season AFC/NFC COMBINED

if one gets blown out it means nothing in relation to GETTING TO SUPER BOWL 51

great question yyz...:0074

If the Pats win you think Brady at his age could walk away like Elway did? I doubt it but it would be a fitting finish.

I seem to recall he said age 45 and walk away..

I imagine just like the great Peyton Manning found out..

ya think you can beat father time and you throw 55 TD's in season..

you follow that up with 39 and you are sailing along ..

but...then Father Time say that's it..

you throw 9 Td's and like the pink slip waiting for you at the door you throw 17 INT's .

you get in your and drive home never to wear the uniform in a NFL game again..

It awaits Brady weather he likes it or not..The car is warming outside Gillette Stadium..

Just a matter of short time before in gets in..

to age 45 is wishful thinking..but that's ok..

all but a handful of great ones stay to long.

Aside from the fact his skill set shows zero signs of diminishing, I think the difference between the rest and Brady is Brady just never gets hit. He has a good offensive line and even when someone gets through he throws the ball in the the third row at the first sign of trouble or turtles to the ground. I know on one particular sack the Steelers got credit for on Sunday they never even touched him.

I'm not saying he's a coward or it's wrong at all, what I'm saying is he's done a great job of avoiding the hits and abuse to his body over the years and may be able to play longer than most because of it.
