New England at Pittsburgh
- Nobody has been able to run on the Ravens with any success unless they used a spread or Siragusa or Adams were out. Pittsburgh dominated the line of scrimmage
-New England had everything they could ask for last week. Went against a weak rush D, had a California team playing in the snow and still needed the Raiders to stop defending an 8-yard route, Gruden's inept play calling, and a call on a rule that will change over the offseason to beat the Raiders. No respect Ty Law says. They don't belong here.
-Pittsburgh's rush defense and the limited plays that New England will have due to time of possession will force Brady to take the game on his shoulders and not just play mistake-free.

Philadelphia at St. Louis
-St. Louis has had limited success against the stronger defenses that they have faced. They needed two turnovers to shorten the field for their two TDs the last time that these two played
-The Rams spread the field to get the matchups that they exploit. Will have to have more protection for Warner and will limit their options offensively
-Rams could have success running the ball as the Eagles will have to respect the deep ball, something that they haven't had to do in their last 4 games where their run defense turned around. But this goes against the offense that Martz wants to run
-Philly will need to run the ball as they did last week so that the Rams have to play both. The Cover Two defense is happy keeping the play in front of them which will lead to long drives for the Eagles and their short passing game. It is a patient offense.
-St. Louis has limited turnovers in their last three but they still don't try to limit them as much as other teams. Philly has been opportunisic all year. McNabb has a defense so will not have as much pressure to win the game all by himself as Favre did. Philly will win the turnover battle.
