One play for tonight:
WASH/CHARL UNDER 188
Wizards are completely disorganized offensively and have lost six straight. Michael Jordan doesn't know whether to dump the ball off to involve his teammates more, or take the open shots himself. Last game, Jordan did all the shooting himself. He scored 44 points -- and Wizards still lost. Jordan knows that he MUST involve the team more in the offense to win. When Jordan goes to the basket, the rest of the Wizards are just standing around watching. This could be the game where you see a bit more of the transition, AWAY from Jordan as the focal point. Home game. Against a struggling opponent. In this new setup, I don't expect Wizards offense to be crisp tonight. Meanwhile, Hornets are without Jamal Mashburn and David Wesely for tonight's game (as of 3:00 pm -- check late reports). That's a huge blow to their scoring potential. Charlotte will focus more on defense this game according to news, as they allowed Portland to shoot 50 percent from the field last game. Expect a bit more intensity from the Hornets here against the Jordanaires. I see a game where if either team struggles, the total should go UNDER. In 20 combined games between these two -- Wizards/Hornets offense has only broken 100+ twice. 188 means both teams will need to score 94. I don't see that happening here.
