Charlie Sheen?s Mercedes Tossed Over Cliff Again
by Ellen Delaney on June 15, 2010 in Celebrities, Entertainment

Charlie Sheen is having car trouble again. And no, not the usual car trouble most of us face. Not a busted transmission or dead battery, no, none of that. Charlie?s car has, for a second time, been driven over the side of a Hollywood Hills cliff. Seriously.
At around 3 a.m., police found a Mercedes at the bottom of the cliff on Mullholland Drive and after running the registration, found the car belonged to none other than Charlie Sheen. Police admit that when the got the initial call, they had joked that it was probably one of Sheen?s rides.
When cops arrived at Sheen?s home, he told them the last time he noticed his vehicle sitting in the driveway was at around 4 p.m. and wasn?t aware it was missing.
Back in February, police found Sheen?s Merecedes SUV 100 feet down a Mulholland Drive embankement. Sheen had gotton a call in the middle of the night when his remote diagnostics company received an alert that his car had been involved in a wreck and the airbags had deployed. The perpetrators were never caught and Sheen had joked of the crash: ?It was nice to have police come to my house and for once and I didn?t have to leave with them.?
Curiously, the guard shack at the entrance and exit of Sheen?s gated community, failed to catch surveillance footage of the first theft and cops are returning today to see if footage was captured for the second incident. Moreover, Charlie Sheen had left his keys in the car again, which was also how his car had been stolen the first time around. Sheen reportedly told authorities he felt safe leaving the car that way because he lives in a gated community.
?The owner of the vehicle didn?t realize his car was missing,? says L.A. Fire Dept. Battalion Chief Peter Benesch. ?We?re making the assumption the car was stolen. The keys were found in the vehicle and it was pushed over the side of a hill.?
Law enforcement sources call the most recent incident ?suspicious.? Umm, yeah. That?s a pretty good conclusion, Colombo.
In conclusion, Charlie Sheen, the highest-paid TV actor earning a staggering $825,000 per episode of Two and a Half Men, is making so much money, he can afford to leave his cars in his driveway with the keys in the ignition and just shrug his shoulders when they get tossed over a cliff. So what is the story here? Will Sheen?s car thieves be brought to justice? Could it be a master plot engineered by a disgruntled ex? Want to bet on celebrities?
