Couldn't help but notice that IU is a home dog tonight. I Went to school there and grew up watching Big-10 games there. It is tough to play at Assembly Hall period, studnets on winter break or not. Its loud, its hostile and the entire crowd is into the game.

Now I know the Hoosiers are bad this year, but their schedule is one of the toughest in the nation. They were able to hang with UNC, UConn, Missouri, kind of Notre Dame and UK for the first half of that game. They've had some time to rest from that brutal stretch of games and I believe they will be prepared to play against a good charlotte team.

Bracey Wright is probable, and the young guys Vaden and White have been able to adjust to the collegiate level. This team does not have quit in them, and more importantly, Mike Davis needs to win, especially at home to impress alumni and sports department because his job is most definitly on the line after losing 5 straight. The Hoosiers haven't lost 6 straight since the 69-70 season.

Charlotte has good starters in Withers and Plavich, a weak bench and a questionable point guard. They were able to hang with a good Alabama team at home, but haven't faced much on the road.

Any input on the Hoosiers +1.5 at home?

charlotte lives and dies on the perimeter and thats why i will never back them on the road. when theyre hitting, they can compete with damn neat anyone. indiana is no prize, but they should be able to control the inside. charlotte is the better team, but no way could i back them tonight. i think this game is indiana or pass.
