The bottom line and i have a Suns bet to win it all is that if ginobbli wasn't so cold this series would be 3-1. Spurs are the better team here and Pheonix pathetic way they play defense will sure as hell never get them the title. Barbosa? How many times is he gonna leave Finley alone? How many times is Nash gonna cheat on D and leave a wide open three. I love watching the Suns but it is getting sickening to watch there total refusal to play defense. As long as there are two teams named Detroit and the Spurs this team isnt going anywhere. By the way down the strectch every single call went against the Spurs who i feel got shafted big time and i had Pheonix on the money line tonight. I won a gift. I also won a gift with that shithole Cleveland watching them with a six point lead and 2 minutes to go and with superman they can't score another point.

I haven't watched much of the series at all. Games are on too late and I can't get any money into my account. But this is the one series I wanted to watch.
I love Nash, but can't stand the Suns. Not speaking on this series, just last few years of Suns basketball....its like they simply are in agreement that they will not play any defense. Kind of like, this is our system...take it out of the basket and run and outscore and if that doesn't work, so be it.
I think D'Antone is basically Mike Martz and in the end it could be a waste of a lot of talent.

The one team left that could beat the Suns would be the Pistons, but I think the Suns would beat them. Saying that, I think the Spurs survive this series and win it all.
the funny thing is, they actually can play defense (bell-marion 1st team defenders) but choose to play an open style entertaining brand of basketball.....they sure looked like they could play defense the last 3 mins of that game yest.
personally, the nba would be much better if all teams were this way as opposed to the houstons-old knicks-heat-pistons of the world where defense was the #1 priority for all 48 mins leading to games that end in 82-74...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
well if PHX pulls thru somehow against SA, DET is capable of making it a series that is for sure. PHX will have a lot of miles on their odometer (especially after this SA series), we will see how they will react to a fresh team.

I completely agree. I watched the third quarter of the game last night, and it was ridiculous how slow it was... I couldn't handle it.
I was hoping for a Warriors-Suns western final. Either way, the finals are going to be boring, and the eastern finals REALLY boring... If the Suns don't beat the Spurs I won't watch another second of this crap.
I didn't see the fight, so I can't comment on the suspensions, but somehow I'm sure the whiny Spurs will get the best of the situation.
Detroit will beat them easily because they have four solid defensive players. Pheonix defense is pathetic and when you have five guys that can score and all play defense except webber it will show. Last year i said that it was the worst finals i ever saw with two teams who got gift from refs and shouldn't have even be in it. Low and behold both those mediocre teams got wiped out this year. The Pistons lay down for Miami last year just like the league wanted them to and guess what its Flips Saunders pay back. This team has been the best team for the last five years but they got a point guard who decides the outcomes of games.

Gin Bell is solid but Marion is suspect. Plays at least five feet off of everyone he is guarding. That kinda stuff he could get away with during the season but not now.
I don't want wide open basketball as a result of playing no defense. I want it because of good offense.

if you are talking to me no i like good defense. Now like the Cavs the announcers keep trying to tell me they are a very good defensive team but they are not and basically stink on defense as well as offense. That i dont want to see. I like watching the Pistons and Spurs. I like watching the Suns to but and i have said this a bunch of times, when it gets down to the playoffs when all the teams are at least decent, you see what works and what doesn't. To me the way the Suns play D won't win them shit. this series should be 3- 1 if ginobli would hit some of his shots. unfortunately i have a finals wager on Pheonix. Pheonix does not match up well with Detroit and if Wallace was still there it would be lights out. Look from the git go i said the league is pushing James big time so im not even sure Detriot gets there but after thinking about this more i knew Detroit layed down for Miami last year. And i now think Flip Saunders gets his payback. Let me go out on a limb here. I think the Suns win tomorrow. Why are they the favorite?
