i may be a little biased because i am a big giant fan but they are going to have decent year. i dont expect them to win the super bowl but with kurt warner and eli manning battling for the starting job and the new acquisitions on the line i am looking for them to be just at or above 500.

their team total for wins is a 6. I looked up and down their schedule and they should be able to win at least 6 games even if eli starts all season. I have the feeling warner will start game 1 and regain his old form. he will be out to prove to everyone that he still can play the game and play it well. toomer, hilliard and if shockey can stay healthy should really like playing with warner as he has a way of finding the open receiver. the giants defense has some new faces and some key veterans that will do their part to keep them in the game.
this was the only team total that really stood out to me. Any thoughts on this total or any others please share as these totals make the season fun to watch, especially if you are a giant fan.

good luck to everyone this season

What kind of chalk does that over come with? I hate the Giants but will admit that 6 is an attractive number based on this schedule:

Sept. 12 at Philadelphia 4:15 p.m.
Sept. 19 Washington 1:00 p.m.
Sept. 26 Cleveland 1:00 p.m.
Oct. 3 at Green Bay 1:00 p.m.
Oct. 10 at Dallas 1:00 p.m.
Oct. 17 Open Date
Oct. 24 Detroit 1:00 p.m.
Oct. 31 at Minnesota 1:00 p.m.
Nov. 7 Chicago 4:05 p.m.
Nov. 14 at Arizona 4:15 p.m.
Nov. 21 Atlanta 4:15 p.m.
Nov. 28 Philadelphia 1:00 p.m.
Dec. 5 at Washington 4:15 p.m.
Dec. 12 at Baltimore 1:00 p.m.
Dec. 18 Pittsburgh 1:30 p.m.
Dec. 26 at Cincinnati 1:00 p.m.
Jan. 2 Dallas 8:30 p.m.

I'd imagine the key will be to come out of the box strong and make sure that you get at least 2 wins before the open date week 6. With that being said, I wouldn't be shocked if the Giants start the season 1-4 either. Playing 3 of your first five @Philly, @Dallas and @ Green Bay isn't the best way to get a fast start. If they can take care of business at home vs the Redskins and the Browns I don't see why they can't hit the number.

the over was at 6 -130. i thought maybe they based it on eli manning starting. i really think warner is going to have a pretty good year. he is now going to give the ball to eli without a fight.

well the giants name kurt warner the starting qb which was the right decision. warner should have no problem getting the giants 6 wins. warner will have many options in toomer, hilliard, shockey, barber and the rejuvanated ron dayne. call me crazy but they may not be that bad
