I ordered this patio set back in late August. I assembled the damn thing and put it out for use. One of the chairs was fucked up so I called Sams Club and asked that they send me a replacement. No problem, right?

Yesterday I was delivered a brand new complete set. Total charges for this set including shipping was $1173.00.

So, being concerned that I was going to be charged for a whole new set, I just called them and explained how everything went down and I only need one chair. I was told that they don't replace one chair, they replace the whole set. So, I asked what I was supposed to do because I certainly don't want to be charged for another set and I don't want to disassemble the broken chair and send it all back. What do I do?

She said you are not going to be charged and you are under no further obligation. I get to keep both sets? Yep!

WTF? Okay then, thanks for your help, you just made my day.

Came back Friday. Came back with more money than we left with, thanks to my wife, and 6 pounds heavier.

The chair was just messed up like the spring was broken.

Hilton asked him to return the money, Sams Club did not ask for it back. Maybe it cost them more for shipping it back than it cost them for the product I have sitting in my garage. I don't know. I didn't ask for a set to be delivered, I asked for a replacement chair. I reached out to THEM asking what should I do.

It was a reference to his days of touting the Costco return policy. The thought of Hilton never entered my mind. Unreal.
