I was just wondering what your affiliation with UNT was?

ok, it seems that you guys DO pay attention to avatars.....LOL

as i answered in the WNBA thread:

Why the North Texas Mean Green avatar?

simple reason:

over the last two years they have made me some serious money in NCAA COLLEGE FOOTBALL.

we're not talking 4 - 5 units, we're talking about 30 - 40 units betting on the under with this team the last two years and i thought it would be nice to pay hommage to them, it's the least i could do....to wear the UNT avatar.

and if you don't believe me, go ask gardenweasel.;)

thanks for the question.

class dismissed early, let's go to the bar.:toast: :drinky: :drinky: heyes

Hudson Valley area.....NY
Toronto V.
NT opens up with Air Force in college football.
They are a good team to play.In b-ball 2 yrs ago they made me a lot.I know you cleaned up on them this yr.
Hate going against my alma-mater but....
NT has does have a lot of famos people that went there.I went there from 1969-1973.Mean Joe had just left the yr before. But Cedric Hardmann became NFL Rookie of the Yr the next yr.Steve Ramsey,Ron Shanklin, and 9 other players made NFL teams.Phyliss George and Shirly Cothram became Miss America's,Peter Weller{Robo Cop] and Blues Brother Lou Marino.
Also the lead singer for the Eagles[I freak'in forgot his name]He was in a group called Shiloh.2 yrs later the eagles started.

Also people like Pat Boone,Bill Moyers,Trini Lopez,Larry McMurrty,Doctor Phil,etc....

But the best person to come out of North Texas was a slim good looking co-ed from Paris,Texas.Met her dribbling a basketball in the dorm lobby doing my spin "Earl the Pearl"move. It was love at first site.Yest. was our 28th anniversary.Damn.Where has time gone. Now 4 kids later and able to retire in 4 more yrs.

North Texas was a great school.Gave my education and family. Also they continue to help me on the football field and b-ball court.
Don Henley....I couldn't remember his name.
NT football team is pretty good this yr.But OL is new.Hall at Qb is back. But AF's "bone" could cause big time problems for the Mean Green.

Like you avatar TV...
