Gentlemen, This is an example of a team (K.C.) that is in the solid stages of development with coach Vermiel and enjoyed some amount of success during the last half of last year ( They lost two very close games to OAK 28-26 and Seattle 21-18) This is a team that has had an additional year to learn new systems and has put some additional players in place to remedy some of thier shortcomings of last year. The biggest question is Trent Green at QB. This was going to be the starter for St Louis a few years ago before getting injured and succumbing to Kurt Warner. Last year he had a terrible year with a ton of turnovers. The organization seems to feel this can be corrected. Priest Holmes has been a great addition to this team (Leading rusher in the NFL last year)They will be playing against a brand new squad with a lot of talent. The Texans may have a lot of talent but it will take time for them to develop. I feel the Chiefs really would like to take it out on the new guys.

Thank you Mr Plissken, I truly appreciate it.The chiefs didnt seem to be as sharp as I would have hoped and thier defense is still suspect. Hopefully they get it together by the beginning of the season because if they do I think they will be flying under the radar for a few weeks and could be an extremely good value
