Buddy:

Worlds worst newspaper, Cincinnati Enquirer has it a -9 1/2. FYI, UC has lost 2 of its past 3 games at Savvis Center. Billikens have won 7 straight at home.

Personally, I love my Bearcats but, leaning to the points if Perry plays. If Perry is out, I like the cats. By the way, what is a Billiken?

Further UC info. Bearcats are now on the road. 5 of the next 6 games through 2-9-02 are away from the friendly confines of Shoemaker Center.

today at St. Louis, sat at S. Florida, 1-29 back at home v. E. Carolina, 2-2 big game at Marquette, 2-6 big rivalry at Charlotte (teams & fans hate each other), then 2-9 big game at Wake.

The Wake game should be great. Former X coach Skip Prosser Wakes coach has Huggins #. Already love Wake and its going to be at least a June game maybe even a Beaver game.

Eddie,

I have a St. Louis University sweatshirt.

A Billiken is a li'l gremlin looking guy.

Looks like a cross between an elf and the Michelin Tire Man.

Thanks for the Cinc/STL info.

I think I like the Billikens.

Massey has had U-C ranked number 1 for a while now. I see Sagarin has them second. And the "brilliant" ESPN announcer yesterday says "the Bearcats have sneaked into the top 5." Sneaked?? Why weren't they in the top 5 for the past 3 weeks? Coaches and writers voting in the polls are clueless.
