circuit city

So has anybody been to circuit city lately? Wondering if there's any deals to be had now that it's been several weeks since their going out of business.

Looking for maybe a deal on a large flat screen monitor. Is it worth checking the place out now or not? Let me know if anyone's been to any of the stores of late.

I went about a week ago. Their prices (on the things that I saw) were still about comparable to what you can find on Amazon every day.

It's probably worth stopping in just to see, though.

Most all of the really good deals have already been removed from what I saw.

they still had better deals at christmas time. by the time the prices are really attractive everything will be gone.

I went there last week to look at digital cameras, not a whole lot left, a girl told me that she bought one of the cameras they had on display for $125 at walmart, and circuit city had it listed at $200 marked down 30% to $170. They did a lot of deals going on TVs and saw a lot of people buying them, but not in the market for one so I don't know how good of deals they were...

for the absolute best prices on anything just keep and eye on two places

I think you can get a 52" Pioneer Kuro for around 1800 right now. Or you can get something that is very good for around 1000-1200. Personally if you're going to watch this tv much, I would go with the Kuro.
