Fox paid $400 million for the rights to the World Cup. USA is out. :mj07:
No doubt it won't be as profitable for Fox with the US out, but don't think for one minute they still aren't happy about having the broadcast rights and would likely sign up to pay the $400 extra large again. Even in the US without the home team playing the WC will still be one of the most watched events of the year.
I've posted before that I was late to the game becoming a soccer fan, but it really is a great game. Yes, the immediate reaction will be to argue how boring a 0-0 90 minute game is, but when you understand the game you understand even a 0-0 game is played so strategically.
The other thing I can offer is learn to bet on soccer, learn how the Asian line works and place a few bets on Premier League Saturday morning's while waiting for college football to kickoff. I think you will enjoy the game for sure if you do. Not to mention the most profitable forum on this site, without question, is the soccer forum. If you ultimately decide you hate soccer, but still like money, visit the soccer forum. A few guys are just killing it over there and for a decent period of time not just riding a hot streak.
